Statement of Interest
I am writing to formally express my interest in running for a position on the NACA Board of Directors. It would be an honor to contribute my skills, experience, and commitment to furthering the mission and goals of the organization. I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to be considered for this role and to serve alongside other dedicated professionals in supporting NACA’s continued success.

Biography
Richard Folkman is Vice President of CAT Operations – Flood & Carrier Practice Leader at Crawford & Company, with more than 14 years of experience in catastrophe response, flood operations, and insurance adjusting. An NFIP-certified adjuster with extensive technical expertise, he also has a strong entrepreneurial background as a multi-franchise owner in an internationally recognized system, earning multiple national awards and serving as President of the Edible Arrangements National Advisory Council.
Richard has served on the NACA Education Committee for the past three years, contributing to the advancement of professional development within the adjusting community. His combined experience in catastrophe operations, business leadership, and national advisory service positions him to provide valuable insight and strategic perspective to the NACA Board of Directors.
He has been married for 42 years and is the proud father of two adult children, two grandchildren, and an assortment of furry children who complete the family.
