Statement of Interest
Having served on the NACA Board of Directors for many years in various leadership roles, including President and, currently as Past President, Bruce Authement brings extensive experience, institutional knowledge, and a strong commitment to the Association’s continued success. Throughout his service, Bruce has been a dedicated advocate for NACA, supporting initiatives that strengthen the organization and provide greater value to its members. His experience gives him a valuable understanding of NACA’s accomplishments, challenges, and opportunities for growth. As an instructor who works directly with adjusters, Bruce brings a practical perspective on the skills and training professionals need in the field. That perspective would help him support educational opportunities that address members’ everyday challenges. Bruce is seeking another term to help ensure NACA remains financially sound, expands its member benefits and educational opportunities, and strengthens its presence and influence within the catastrophe adjusting industry. He looks forward to contributing his leadership, experience, and dedication to help guide NACA toward a strong and successful future.
Biography
Bruce Authement is an Xactware Certified Trainer (XCT), Senior Certified General Adjuster (SCGA), Certified Property Insurance Appraiser (CPIA), and owner of River Road Partners, LLC, based in Covington, Louisiana. He has worked in the property insurance claims industry since 2004 and is regarded as one of the industry’s leading instructors in Xactimate and Xactimate Mobile.
Bruce specializes in teaching and fine-tuning estimating processes that improve field productivity, estimate quality, and file consistency. He has trained and consulted with insurance carriers, independent adjusting firms, emergency service providers, contractors, and other industry partners nationwide. His instruction combines more than twenty years of residential and commercial claims handling with deep technical knowledge of Xactimate pricing methodology, sketch techniques, Mobile workflows, and forensic review of estimate audit logs. Based in Covington, Louisiana, Bruce travels the country delivering practical, high-energy training grounded in real-world catastrophe and daily-claims operations. In addition to classroom and on-site instruction, his practice includes complex-loss consulting, public-adjuster and attorney-represented files, defense appraisal work, umpire assignments, building consulting, and FORTIFIED roof evaluation.
