As the hurricane season begins in full force, I want to encourage everyone to take advantage of our 2025 NACA Convention Early Bird Registration, effective through October 31, 2024. I am excited for everyone to join us at NACA’s 50th Anniversary Convention in Little Rock. AR. The Convention Planning Committee has been working hard this year to celebrate NACA’s 50th Anniversary, and we have so much in store for you.
This year’s convention begins on Sunday February 9, 2025. If you are a big fan like me, you know what a day this is going to be. We are starting the convention by celebrating with “The Big Game” Tailgate Party at the Little Rock Marriott. We invite everyone at the convention to participate in watching the biggest game of the year on a giant screen, enjoying tailgating food and drinks, visiting the sponsoring tailgating tables, and “tackling” your career networking.
NACA’s Annual Convention is where you will take part in training classes while also networking and interviewing with IA firms from across the country. Our training classes are designed for adjusters at multiple skill levels, and focused on all topics, from how to start your career to updating yourself on the latest technology. This year, we will have 48 two-hour classes and also one full day flood class. 75% of the classes this year will be offering CE’s!
Networking opportunities will begin on Sunday and are offered throughout the week. Our mobile app will go live in mid-November to help you plan a schedule to maximize your time at the event.
On Monday morning, you can join us for breakfast and enjoy our keynote speaker. In celebration of our 50th anniversary, we will have some fun surprises in store during this time. On Monday and Tuesday, we will have Lunch & Learns for independent adjusters sponsored by our two Diamond Sponsors, Pilot Catastrophe Services and Alacrity Solutions.
Tuesday night’s event is going to be a private LIVE Concert! We hope you join us to support members of our own adjusting community, Flat River Band. Associated with Tracker Claims, the Flat River Band hails from Nashville, TN, and they will be performing for us at The Hall in downtown Little Rock. During this exciting music event, you will enjoy great food from one of the best caterers in Little Rock as well as two free drink tickets (dancing is optional ). This event does require separate registration to attend. You can sign up when you register for the convention or separately on the NACA website. Space is limited so you will want to sign up asap!
On Wednesday we will have a luncheon in the exhibit hall to celebrate our 50th Anniversary. As always, this is when we announce prize giveaways. Don’t miss your chance to claim a prize!
On Thursday we hold our yearly NACA Membership Business Meeting. Our Board this year is focusing on growing our membership, so we hope to see many of you there. We have several important items to discuss at this year’s meeting. It is very important to hear from you as this is your organization. Feedback is always welcome.
This Convention anniversary is going to be a golden one, and I hope to see you there!
